Bocuse – French Restaurant: An amazing restaurant at half the price a normal French restaurant will charge, great presentation, the food is so good that you want to eat it slowly so it will last longer, beautiful ambiance, glass wall to the cleanest kitchen you ever saw with the whole operation visible to the guests. Highly recommend, book your reservation weeks or months in advance!

Jaeger Haus – Authentic German Cuisine
Owners Andreas Nowara and Emily Carvajal team up with Executive Chef and Owner Paulo Carvajal to bring authentic German cuisine to the Hudson Valley.
Jaeger House in Tivoli on Route 9G, a welcome addition to the restaurant collection in the area, the owner is from Germany and knows his stuff, large portions and tastes great, also a full bar to hangout, although a bit on the small side.

A NEIGHBORHOOD STYLE FALAFEL PLACE IN RHINEBECK
Some say the best falafel east of the Mississippi, I say, very good falafel, the owners spent a lot of time and effort in perfecting it, always busy and should be visited for a local filling lunch.
54 E Market St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572
Burgers, Fries, Shakes
Buns Burgers is pushing the farm-to-table movement into quick-service dining.
Until they opened Rhinebeck had no reasonably priced quick meal and here came Buns, great burgers or Dogs, very good sauces, nice indoor and outdoor seating and quick service, also, great shakes!

Gaby’s Cafe – Mexican Bar & Grill
A local Mexican restaurant and a full bar to just hangout, hidden off Spring Street, had mariachis playing once a week, but no more, still miss them! Please bring them back.
6423 Montgomery St #7, Rhinebeck, NY 12572
An old time establishment, hopefully you will meet the very friendly and caring owner who will greet you or ask you “how’s everything” in his deep deep voice. Our favorite take out or sit in Pizza. Also, serve a full menu of Italian favorite dishes.
19 E Market St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572
An upper scale Breakfast and Lunch establishment, a favorite hangout for the locals, great assortment of breads, cakes and pies, gets busy quick but has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating’s. Breads to take home sell quickly, so get there early!
45 E Market St, Rhinebeck, NY 12572
Hands down, the best German restaurant in the North East if not nationwide. Run by the same family for four generations, full bar, huge portions and all is excellent. As someone who grew up with this food, I highly recommend. Also, a full large bar.

A cool Mexican restaurant in Hudson, authentic and good, love their “Huevos rancheros”.
537 Warren St, Hudson, NY 12534
We are not vegans, not by a long shot, we were introduced to this restaurant by Dan, the oldest son who was a vegan at the time, the food is so good, we keep going there.
6 Old Forge Rd, Woodstock, NY 12498
A true hangout place, lots of the young and restless from Bard nearby. Excellent selection of coffees, cakes and sandwiches, sit in and imagine you’re on “Friends” or enjoy the outside on a nice day, live music often on weekends.
